I had a serious problem with this unreasonable request since I had already paid for my furniture and the original amount requested for their delivery service. Their condescending attitudes and unwillingness to help will forever deter me from what I consider a poorly managed store. The owner of this company is ruthless. I sent pictures and spoke with the owner on the phone before bringing the table in to be sold. I asked several times if he could sell it for the amount I needed ($1,000).

I had a terrible experience where I purchased an item and on the day the merchandise was delivered, the mover demanded that I pay more. When I called to complain, the store manager and sales person were very rude, unapologetic, and they too insisted that I pay more!

I totally disagree with the previous two reviews. More than that, I find it ridiculous. I bought furniture from Alter Home on several occasions, and recently for the first time I brought some of my stuff there to sell. I had to sign a contract that is about half a page long and it took me less than 2 minutes to read it.
